Touch and Go / Quarterstick SXSW in review | Touch and Go / Quarterstick Records

A couple weeks ago Touch and Go/Quarterstick held its first label showcase at SXSW in four years. The event was held at Flamingo Cantina on Friday, March 20th and included performances from all of the new blood that the label had been adding over the last year. The show itself was a great collection of varied artists and styles, and also a coming together of new and old friends to support a common cause. The following are some of our favorite captured moments from the five-day span that TGQS spent down in Austin, TX.

Touch and Go/Quarterstick Class of '09. This shot was taken post-showcase, and is a pretty awesome document of the amazing cast of characters -- artists, friends, label staffers -- that TG/QS has come to represent. The showcase included truly jaw-dropping sets performed by Disappears, The Uglysuit, Mi Ami, Sholi, All the Saints, and Crystal Antlers.
