Touch and Go at SXSW 2006

Two Touch and Go acts will be performing at South By Southwest, the annual music conference held in Austin, TX. Touch and Go's newest family member Ted Leo and indie favorites The Black Heart Procession are playing at a clutch of showcases and parties this year. The Black Heart Procession will be previewing material from their forthcoming album The Spell (out May 9). This time around the sound is less funereal and more rocking. And the new songs see the band fortifying their sound with a full booming rhythm section. Ted Leo has built a reputation as one of the great live indie rock acts, performing his high energy power-pop anthems for captive audiences everywhere. http://www.szao-site.com/news Both bands are sure to deliver knock-out performances.
