Slint reunite for Don't Look Back series in Europe

Well, surprise, surprise! Our legendary alumni, Slint, are restless again and, in conjunction with ATP's Don't Look Back series, have announced a new crop of live European dates. In 2005, ATP's Barry Hogan established the Don't Look Back series allowing artists the opportunity to perform live their recordings that have had a significant impact on music. Cue Spiderland. Starting in Amsterdam on May 21, Slint will reunite to play eight dates performing 1991's Spiderland in addition to other material for the first time since the spring of 2005.

Past performances have included Fun House by The Stooges, Bandwagonesque by Teenage Fanclub and many others. The 2007 season promises even more rare performances. Sonic Youth will be performing Daydream Nation and London's The House of Love, their classic 1988 self-titled debut. Continue to check back at the Don't Look Back website for more performance announcements. Oh yeah, and long live Slint!
