Polvo, Shellac to play My Bloody Valentine ATP

Adding to their recently steady stream of exciting announcements, Polvo—along with labelmates Shellac—will be performing at ATP New York, held September 19-21 at Kutshers Country Club in Monticello, NY. The east coast festival will also notably feature the first U.S. performance in 16 years from iconic shoegaze band My Bloody Valentine.

In case you missed our initial news posts, original members Ash Bowie, Dave Brylawski and Steve Popson will be joined by new drummer Brian Quast (ex-Cherry Valence) as they hit the road for the first time in over 10 years. Stay tuned for further tour information.

Polvo fans can further get reacquainted as both Exploded Drawing and Shapes will be reissued on vinyl on May 6. The LP versions of Polvo’s two most recent original recordings will come complete with download coupons, redeemable for MP3 versions of both albums.
