Ted Leo honors Springsteen in video performance, interview

We all know that Ted Leo isn’t afraid to pull out a cover song every now and again. In concerts, TL and the Pharmacists have been known to dust off renditions of anything – however unlikely – from Curtis Mayfield’s “Keep On Pushin’” to Daft Punk’s “One More Time” (link), and recently the group played celebrity house band for a night of indie rock karaoke at Studio B in Brooklyn, NY (link). Yesterday Bruce Springsteen’s home label, Columbia Records, released a video of a solo Ted Leo paying homage to The Boss by ripping through an interpretation of “Dancing In the Dark” and explaining how the song and Springsteen have inspired him. Take a gander.
