Kepone Reunite For East Coast Shows

Kepone are back!

Fronted by a former childhood preacher who subsequently played bass for Gwar, Kepone also features players from DC's Holy Rollers, Eek-A-Mouse, Hoi Polloi, Burma Jam, and Honor Roll. Although frequently compared to the Minutemen and tour mates the Jesus Lizard, the band was equally influenced by the Appalachian spirituals that surrounded them while they were growing up. And don't forget the reggae, bluegrass, and ZZ Top influence that informed this power trio throughout all of their albums.

Recently reunited, this heavy three-piece will take the stage for 3 shows in March. After playing a few festivals and sharing the stage with the likes of Lamb of God and Gwar, Kepone are headlining some shows of their own. The current line up consists of Michael Bishop (bass, vocals), Tim Harriss (guitar, vocals), and Ed Trask (drums). The fun gets started on Friday, March 8th, in Washington, DC!
